The Paydirt operation is based out of Melbourne, Australia. They launched in 2011. The app is considered "for freelancers, by freelancers."
Paydirt is unique in that it has the browser extensions which can make it so that if the user forgets to start the timer on a project, the extension can still track their time on a project. Additionally, the app is focused simply on the time tracking of freelance projects and not payroll or hourly employees for other fields.
Paydirt is very well designed, simple to use and easy to incorporate into one's freelance business. Since it is designed by freelancers, they have added the elements that are critical and most useful to such a contractor and such projects. The app was fast and responsive. There were no bugs or errors encountered at any point of this review. Overall, Paydirt functions quite nicely!
To register for the application, users can click on the Sign Up hyperlink located on the Paydirt homepage. Paydirt requests the following information from users in order to establish a new account: first name, email address, password, client's business name, and per hour charge. From there users are taken to their Paydirt dashboard and they can start creating new projects or clients and using the Paydirt app.
Paydirt is free for 14 days. After that, the app costs $10 per user, per month. Paydirt offers a Solo plan ($10), a Duo plan ($20) and a Trio plan ($30).
